Tonight, the Posse Plus will discuss Luke’s reading for the 15th Week of Ordinary Time, Chapter 10, verses 25-37. In this reading Jesus is tested by a scholar and responds with the parable of The Good Samaritan. He challenges us to ‘go and do likewise’ even today. For the rest of the show, we have two very special guests. They are both members of our parish community and have spent the past five years, as the Blues Brothers might say – ‘On a Mission From God!’ – Bill Reif and Gary Johnson have been studying to become deacons in the Davenport Diocese and are scheduled to be ordained on July 9th at the Cathedral in Davenport. We welcome Gary Johnson and Bill “Andrew” Reif to the show to share their journey to become Deacons.
